English 12 Homework for Tuesday, March 1:

Any work outstanding is due tomorrow.

1. Revise and hand in "Unknown Citizen" theme paragraph by Tuesday: Lucy, Emma, Ricky, Cameron, Jessica, Sean.

English 9 Homework for Tuesday, March 1:

1. Any late work that you have not handed in is due tomorrow.

2. Read the short story, "The Curio Shop" at least two times: a) add to the Glossary section of your Binder, any words you do not know and define them in the format I have asked you to.

3. Tomorrow you will work with a NEW partner on the "Activities" on the back of the story. Develop your answers and questions. This is due on Wednesday.  On Wednesday we will have a question and answer period, and then you will work on a cover design.  

English 11 Homework for Tuesday, March 1:

1. Any work that was due on Monday that did not come in, is due Tuesday.

2. "The Destructors": Complete the first five questions, developing your answers in paragraphs with integrated quotes where it makes sense.

 

English 12 Homework for Monday, Feb. 29:

1. Be working on your ideas, vocabulary, organization, etc. for your Synthesis Essay that you will continue on Monday and Tuesday.

Also, if you have any work outstanding, please have it in by Monday.

English 9 Homework for Monday, Feb. 29:

1. Booktalk: You will be prepared to share your book with a group. You must have your Booktalk write-up completed for use.

2. Short Story Chart: You should have well- developed content in your Chart for "Soft Rains" and "If I Forget Thee, Oh Earth." 

3. Revision of "Soft Rains" paragraph: staple the second draft on top of the original.

4. Glossary: You should have several entries in your Glossary by now.  Get these up to date by Tuesday.  I will be looking at them and having a test on them.

English 11 Homework for Monday, Feb. 29:

1. "Pedestrian/Vonnegut"Revisions are due: use the same revision style as the last revisions.

2. Complete all "The Smile" questions and paragraphs. 

3. Any other work that you have not completed must come in on Monday, also.

English 9 Homework for Friday, Feb. 26:

1."April 2026: There Will Come Soft Rains": You should have completed your Chart entries for this story.

2. "If I Forget Thee, Oh Earth...": Read this story two or three times, and start entering your ideas on the Chart. Try to get three or four entries done today. Make sure you look up words you don't know.

3. Revisions: Please be working on your rewrite of your "Soft Rains" paragraph.  Please have this done by Monday.
