1. Study for your Vocabulary Test tomorrow. 

2. Start the Imagery Assignment for "A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings": Be working directly on the Imagery Handout. 1) Try to find two examples for each kind of image if you can, and then 2) determine if the image is a positive or negative one, and then 3) explain the effect of the imagery on the story.

Read the two sets of instructions above the grid very carefully, especially the "Four main effects imagery has on a story, and try to include these four effects in your "Effect of Imagery on the Story" box.

These assignment does not have to be finished; but you could choose the best images for your grid.
