1. Please read the entry before this one for what is due on Monday.
2. Later in the week (by Friday or earlier) you will hand in a revision of your weakest Body Paragraph from your Plato-Benet Essay. You will revise the Topic Sentence of the paragraph to include synthesis, and in the rest of the paragraph you will add concrete examples from the text, a thorough discussion of those examples, 1 or 2 integrated quotes that serve an important purpose in the discussion, and a Concluding Sentence that ends the discussion and reminds the reader of the main point.
Do your revision on a separate page and identify what paragraph it is ie. Body Paragraph #___. This will be word-processed, 12 pt ft. TNR, double-spaced. Underline the new content and any other words you change. Staple the original essay underneath the revision.

This paragraph is word-processed on a separate piece of paper. You are to double-space, use 12 point font, Times New Roman and underline each of your changes. If you choose to completely rewrite it underline the whole text.
Hand it in with the single paragraph revision on top and a title that indicates what BP it is: Paragraph #____ at the top of the page. Staple your original essay underneath the paragraph revision.
2. Literature Circle Work: You will finish you Literature Circle Roles by the end of the block on Monday. You should have good notes from your conversations in your Novel Study section of your binder. For Tuesday you have a Reflection due. This is a well-developed paragraph, word-processed where you reflect on the Literature Circle you had with your group. You can reflect on what insights you learned of the novel in your conversations and roles, how you contributed in terms of ideas and social skills and any other aspects of the LC that you wish to comment on. This paragraph is word-processed in the usual way and should be a minimum of 2/3 of a page. Included in this Literature Circle Reflection are the two sections: A) Preparations and B) Participation on the Self-Evaluation Form. Photocopy these and fill them in using the Scoring guide. Paste them on the back of your written Reflection and hand them in.
