English 9 Homework for Friday, April 26 

1. You are to rewrite your 1. Introduction and Body Paragraph #1 of the Character essay we are working on.  

• You must word-process your work and double space it.  

• Please indent your paragraphs using the TAB key.   

• Make sure you are following the criteria on my Essay Handout for the proper organization of ideas.  Keep it beside you when you write.  

• Make sure that your Thesis is the last sentence of your Introduction and that it has three character adjectives that show Matt's growth over time. It is an interesting sentence, not just a list.

• Be sure that your Topic Sentences of your Body Paragraphs have one of the adjectives in the order that you wrote them in your Introduction. And make sure you have two developed examples to support that adjective. If you choose to, you may start working on Body Paragraph. 

  Please edit your work before you print it out.

• If you were away on a field trip, you should have you buddy edit both the Introduction and Body Paragraph #1 for you, by emailing it to them.
