English 12 Homework for Thurs/Fri and the Weekend due Monday:

1. Do the Provincial poem "Working in the Rain." Read it several times and do the multiple choice on separate paper. Do not mark up the Exam.

2. Provincial Prompt: Essay due Monday, March the 7th: Please read the prompt at the back of the Provincial Exam and start thinking about the personal essay you will write. *Start developing your ideas in bullet form. Bring it with you tomorrow, so you can work on it if you finish your essay. 

This is a "first person" essay of five paragraphs, where you will develop the prompt by reflecting on yourself. Use concrete examples from your life experience - and looking toward the future. This is a personal essay of 5 paragraphs where you write about your real life in an interesting way, including rich examples. 

Your concluding paragraph should not repeat anything you have already said, but look toward the future.
