English 10 Homework for Friday, March 3:

1. Read the poem "Gracious Goodness" by Marge Piercy several times, so you understand it.  In your own words answer the following questions:

a. Look up words you do not know. Word: definition. There will be a quiz.

b. In your own words, write a developed paragraph explaining what the poem about. This should be approximately 5-8 sentences, well written.

c. In a few good sentences - identify and discuss the theme of the poem?  Look up "theme" if you need to, in order to do this well.
