English 10 Homework for Friday to Monday: April 9-13:

1. Read Chapters 1 - 3. For each chapter, do the following:

a)"The Facts" questions in your head and/or in your notes. 

b)All "Focus on Thinking" questions, each written in short paragraphs (2-5) sentences. These require interpretation/analysis.

c) Know your vocabulary, writing out the words and definitions you need to. Keep these with your Chapter work, so you have the words in your notes, and can refer to them easily, and understand the story better.

d) Imagery page: Make a one page document for Imagery, and format it on a full page, word-processed with examples for each type of image.  Show it to me on Monday.

e) Do the same as above for Metaphor. 

We will set up Theme Groups on Monday.
