English 10 Homework for Tuesday, May 11:

1. TKMB Test: We will start the test for this novel tomorrow. There are a number of parts to it. If you have already told me that you are away due to extracurricular events, I expect you to come in the mornings, at 7:30am to make up for the time. 

Tomorrow you will have a Vocabulary Quiz, and write 3 concise paragraphs: on the following:

1. define and describe segregation- including when and why it began, and showing the best examples from the novel.

2. setting: this includes time, place, and social relationships (people and how they interact etc.)

3. The Scottsboro Boys trial and how it reflects the attitudes and beliefs of the time period and some facts of the trial in TKMB.
