Ms. Tyre's English 10 Homework for Thurs. Nov. 7: Reflection of LC #1:

1. Reflection #1: Discuss the insights you gleaned from your LC discussion with your group. Give examples.  2/3 of a page in the usual format.

2. Reflection #2: Discuss your own participation and contribution to the group.  Do not describe what you did in your role, I have read it.  Reflect, instead, on how you participated and contributed in the group, both in your social skills, attitude and intellectual/thinking skills. Use the Self-Evaluation Form for some areas of reflection for this section.

3. Self-Evaluation Form: Photocopy the A)Preparation and B) Participation.  Fill them in using the Scoring Guide and add them up.

Bring all three tomorrow and staple them in order.

Also, bring any of your work that is at home that should be in your Portfolio. However, you need to have your Allegory-Benet essay at home in order to do a meaningful revision of a Body Paragraph.  Be sure to improve the BP in terms of content: ideas, examples development, and in your written expression: vocabulary, sentence structures, order.  This is due at the beginning of the block on Tuesday, November 12.
