This Weekend's Work: English 10 Homework for Fri. to Mon: Dec. 4 :

1. Synthesis Essay: Those of you who have not handed in your essay, need to get it in by 8:20 on Monday.

2. Prompt: Over the weekend write a 4-5 paragraph essay on the following: People's understanding of the world changes over time. Remember that is an essay that can be in the first person point of view. This is due Monday at the beginning of class. You should word-process this essay, as you have the ability to change, delete etc.

3. Poetry: Read the poems: "Follower", "The Blizzard", and "The Lonely Land" and do the multiple choice.  Always refer back to the poems when you do the multiple choice. Due Monday.

*Look up words you don't know, and read the poems 3 or 4 times before you do the multiple choice.

*Use the glossary that each text has at the bottom of the page.
