English 12 Homework for Monday, April 25:

1. Be working on the organization and the ideas for your Synthesis of "Learning to Die in the Anthropocene" and "Progress." Write down all the ideas from the board, as well as all your own ideas.  Consider the comparisons,  differences, and consider themes. Make sure you find the concrete examples from the texts, that you will need.

Over the weekend, you should read the article "Rotten Ice," as there are concrete examples of global warming. 

You need to start organizing your ideas for the essay, in bullet form. I expect three well-developed Body Paragraphs. Get started on all this. Next Wednesday you will start writing this in-class essay. 

I also encourage you to research more, on your own to get a better understanding of the issues. both in class and at home.
