English 11: There is no Homework this weekend.  Enjoy!

If you have not done your Tempest performance, you will do Monday, first thing.

1. Marriage Ceremony: from Act 4, Scene 1, line 60 - 117 rewrite and present the Wedding Masque in our modern English making sure that you are in the tone and the spirit of the original script.

Take photos of the glossary to understand  Shakespeare's script, then start working to update it into modern English; but you could also use Shakespeare Navigator to help you rewrite the script, but not word for word. Make sure you are developing the script yourself, and keeping the meaning

You will need to practice your script and then present it to the class.  You must be one of the characters: Iris, Juno or Ceres.

You must have some props to indicate each goddess: Iris has a rainbow; Ceres has wheat; and Juno has a crown.
