Allegory of the Cave: You are building a document that shows your understanding of this allegory.  You are, in detail and with examples, to explain the surface meaning of Plato's allegory, and, in the same way, the underlying meaning.  Approach the allegory paragraph by paragraph so that you do not miss anything.  Using a double-entry chart is an efficient way to approach this assignment.  It is due on Thursday.
