Ms. Tyre's English 10 Homework for Tues. Sept. 24th :

1. "Many Workmen" Paragraph: this is due tomorrow at the beginning of class.  It is a proper paragraph that explains the allegory, its surface meaning, but more importantly, its underlying meaning that shows us a truth about human life.  

Your paragraph has a Topic Sentence that introduces the author, title and main idea.  The rest of the paragraph discusses and shows with examples.  Then you end on the Concluding Sentence which ends the paragraph and reminds us of the main point.

The paragraph should not be more than one page double-spaced.  You do not need a title for the assignment; it should be clear what it is in the Topic Sentenced.  Times New Roman, 12 point font.
