English 11 Homework for Friday, Oct. 17:

1. "The Smile" essay is due.  Please read your essay over several times before you print it. Make sure to double-space it, underline your Thesis (last sentence of your Introduction), and underlines Topic Sentences of your Body Paragraphs and Concluding sentences of your Body Paragraphs, and your Thesis Reworded- the first sentence of your Conclusion. Universalize the rest of your Conclusion.

Please staple your first draft underneath your 2nd.

2. "The Destructors/The Smile" synthesis work: Bring all of this work with you tomorrow.
