English 10 Homework for Oct. 13 - 19:

1. Animal Farm: Read to the end of Chapter 1. Look up words and terms you do not know. Read carefully and twice. Add vocabulary to a Glossary for Animal Farm.

2. Propaganda Techniques at the bottom of the 1st page of the handout, are due tomorrow. Make sure you have the definition and an example, or two, for each technique.

3. Themes, Literary Concepts (at the top of the 1st page are due on Thursday. These, also need a definition and an example.

4. Personal Editing Checklist: Due Friday, using the format that was shown to you.

5. Revisions of "The Allegory and Me" are due Monday, 19th. Underline all the changes you make. Staple the Original essay underneath your revision.

6. Your Vote: be prepared on Monday the 19th to declare your candidate, in class, giving your reasons as to why you are voting that way. This will be a two minute oral presentation - declaration in front of the class.
