English 10 Homework for Tuesday, Oct. 13:

**If you were not here on Friday, I expect you to read the blog, do the work, and hand it in on Tuesday.

1.  All students will hand in a multi-paragraph essay on the following:  Draw generalizations (truths) about what causes a revolution, and the immediate and long range effects of a revolution. Use examples from the notes you made from the revolutions you have studied. 

You should have a Introductory Paragraph that sets up the essay and makes an important general point (thesis) about revolutions. You need a minimum of two body paragraphs, preferably more, and a concluding paragraph that ends on a general note/your understanding of revolutions. You will be marked on the structure of the essay, your understanding of the revolutions, your ability to use this ideas, and your written expression.  NO 1st PERSON. THIS IS ANALYSIS. NO "me" "I" or "you".
