English 9 Homework for Friday, Oct. 2:

1. Essay Outline: this evening you are revising your Introductory Paragraph, unless I have already approved it.

2. You are working on Body Paragraph #1 (and maybe Body Paragraph #2 if you get that far.) These BP's should be done in bullet form first: That is, you are thinking of the ideas and examples you are going to write, that will develop your Thesis Statement in the Introduction.

IE: Body Paragraph #1: Topic Sentence: this should develop something important in the Thesis:

Now you start thinking of the ideas and examples you need to put in this paragraph

* idea 1: write it out

* idea 2: write it out

* idea 3: write it out

***If you want to start working on Body Paragraph # 2, you may. But you should be very confident of BP #1 first.
