English 11 and 12 Homework due Tuesday, May 24:

1. The Tempest: Reread from the beginning to Act 1, scene 2, line 239ish, "but there's more work."

2. Writing: Civilization vs. Nature: in bullet form, but with well-developed notes, start developing this Theme. This will be from your own ideas, but also incorporating the plot, and using direct references from the play where it is appropriate.  

3. Writing: In a developed paragraph, and with some direct references from the play, discuss the Conflict.

4. In the multi-page Handout, read page 152, "A real-life tempest"
