English 11 Homework for Monday, Dec. 15:

1. "Lost Tribe": Read the poem a few more times, and make an excellent Glossary of Words and their definitions.  

2. Use the method of "critical reading" (read pp. 109-121 in Inside Poetry.) This explains the method of "critical reading" of poetry. 1) Analyzing content. 2) Appreciating Form, Technique and Style.  3) Evaluation.  Read it carefully and apply each section to "Lost Tribe."  These will be developed notes/insights that you will need for Monday's class.
