English 11 Homework for Monday, Feb. 22:

1. These three texts -  a)"Who Saw Murder"  b) "The Pedestrian," c) Toth's article, particulary the theme of conformity, as depicted in "Harrison Bergeron" and in the use of technology - all examine important and disturbing aspects of human nature. 

Your assignment is to examine yourself by entering each of these texts and reflecting on what you would do in each case, and why.  

Don't be shallow, be real. This is a self-examination, by putting yourself in each of these situations, in order to discover/illuminate your morals and ethics - your "human nature."   

Please develop your ideas in bullet form, and in paragraph structure. Each bullet is a paragraph that is well-developed, and primarily personal reflection with the texts, with clear examples, textual and personal.

Come Monday with developed bullets, but the full assignment is due at the beginning of the block on Tuesday.
