English 9 Homework for Tuesday, Feb. 9:

1. Read the articles "Scientists Agree World Faces Mass Extinction" and "World's (7.5 Billionth Baby) Has Little to Look Forward To." 

2. In the Glossary section of your Binder, write down and define all the words you do not know in these two articles. When you do this, each word entry must be organized and written in the following way: 

Word:                                                      Definition:                                                          Sentence: Write the full sentence that the word is in, and underline it. 

This assignment will take you some time. Do it well. Pace yourself.

3. Choose a novel that you would like to read from the school or Richmond library. Bring it with you on Tuesday.
