English 9 Homework for Monday, Feb. 22:

1. "There Will Come Soft Rains": Complete questions 1, 2 and 3.  Be thorough in your answers. Each answer should be a paragraph that is developed, because it shows with examples,  and explains, clearly. Remember, you are writing for the "Guy" behind us, across the fence. 

2. Imagery: imagery is vivid description and is an important element in stories. The five senses we humans have, createa imagery: sight/visual, smell, touch, taste and sound. Write this paragraph in your Elements of Literature section of your Binder.

3. Booktalk: Continue reading your independent novel. We will set a date for Booktalk next week. You should be close to finishing it and should already be creating your Booktalk document.
