English 12 Homework for Monday, Feb. 22:

1. "Repent Harlequin": Work through all the Elements of Literature for this short story. Each of them - plot/conflict, character and motivation, dialogue and vocabulary, mood/tone, and theme, all need to be well understood and developed in your notes. 

You also must have chosen "direct references" in the form of quotes, to use in a writing assignment.

Also know the introduction by Henry David Thoreau very well.
