English 10 Homework for Monday, Feb. 23:

1. Personal Edit Checklist: Have this completed by Monday. Print two copies: one for your Binder and one for me.

2. "The Loons": Reread the story before you begin the questions. Do questions 7, 9, 10, 11, 12. Question 9 should include a Chart with "The Loons" on one side and Piquette on the other. You should be looking for similarities in a number of areas.  Then you should write the paragraph.

Also, Questions 11 and 12 can be written as one paragraph, because, what Vanessa learns, points to the theme. Read your Theme handout carefully before you write.

Please use proper paragraph structure for all of your paragraphs, that is, Topic Sentences and Concluding Sentences, and include integrated quotes in the Body of the paragraphs, to deepen the readers' understanding. One or two integrations per paragraph is fine: and they must be explained.
