1. "The Loons": Make sure you have done the weekend homework: two paragraphs on the character and background of Piquette and Vanessa, Glossary updated etc., historical references identified and explained (allusions). Write good notes and keep your Glossary up to date.

2. "The Loons": Finish reading the short story. Read it again all the way through. Add vocabulary to your notes and your Glossary, and add any new allusions if you find them.
