English 10 Homework for the next few days - 1 and 2:

1. Read my Tuesday Blog entry:  The explanation and questions are there to guide you in writing this In Class Personal Reflective essay: Remember, this is a personal essay using the elements of Plato's Allegory to reflect on your own growth as a person who is learning and struggling to make sense of yourself in the world. The premise is that you are a "prisoner in the cave." How will you become someone who can stand in the light of truth (what truth?), and what will enable you to become a thinking, feeling, moral human being, one who is intelligent, and is able to take the steps you have to take. What learning do you need (it is not all schooling), what attitudes, courage etc. will get you into the "light."

2. Your Homework is the Election Work: look at 2 in my Tuesday blog, and learn these issues. They are also on the board. You should have taken a photo of it.
