English 10 Homework for Tuesday and beyond:

1. Overviews: They must be in by Wednesday at the latest.

2. "Many Workmen": You are to do another revision of this analysis by Wednesday. You are not to have a modern example. Try to improve your analysis of the poem.  Take care to revise your ideas and your writing as you word process this paragraph.  Do not print until you have read it over several times. Staple this last rewrite on top of the other two. 

3. Examinable Terms: These are due NEXT Wednesday.  Follow the format that was on the board:

Word: alliteration                                                 Def: Repetition of the first sound in a group.       Example: The sun sank slowly into the sea.

4. Leader's Debate on Foreign Policy: take some time to find a good overview of what the Leaders discussed in their debate tonight. cbc.ca is a good start. You will discuss this tomorrow in class.

5. Allegory of the Cave: Develop ideas and write answers and for questions f, g, and h.  Each if these answers should be written in paragraph form, and include examples that help understanding. Work on these tonight/tomorrow in class.
