English 9 Homework for Tuesday, Sept. 29:

1. Synthesis Essay - Introduction:  You are to choose two of the short stories on your chart to start a Synthesis Essay. 

Today you are working on your Introductory Paragraph which will give the following information, in  4-5 sentences.

A. The Introductory paragraph requires the titles of each short story, the author's names, AND you explain the main point of synthesis that you will be discussing in your body paragraphs later on. Approximately 5 sentences for this introduction.

The rest of the discussion is in the body paragraphs, after the Introductory Paragraph.

Do not use the words "I", "me" etc.

**Work on your Word Processor, not on pencil and paper. This will allow you to revise as you write.
