English 9 Homework for Thursday, Sept. 17:

1. "The Sniper"rewrite due tomorrow: Do a full rewrite on the climax of the short story. This will require you to take time and effort to do well. You need proper structure: a) Introductory sentence with author, title and main point. b) You need to write with enough plot and carefull analysis for a stranger to understand what happened, why it happened, how the sniper feels, and what it teaches us (about war).  Do a good job. Word process your work if you have the tools. And do not print it out without looking through your paragraph very carefully.  If you do not have a word-processor, than write carefully and neatly. Everyone Edits their work!! Please bring your original as well.
