English 10 Homework: #2 due on Thursday, #1 due at the end of the month, and #3 is ongoing daily.

1. Start your Document of Examinable Terms: Do this at home on a word-processor. This is due on the 30th of September. Follow the structure I gave you, and make sure the sentence actually uses the term as an example.

2. Extended Definition of Democracy: Research carefully so you come to an extended definition, of approximately two paragraphs, that defines "democracy, shows how it works, explains what citizens' and leaders' obligations and privileges are, includes democracy's fallibility, and why democracy is considered the better form of governance. This is due Thursday. Please include a Bibliography in the form of the websites you used. (you should look at several).

3. Keep abreast of the Canadian Election: look at decent news sites. Know how the Europeans and the refugees are getting along, how England is dealing with it, and Canada and USA, etc.  Come with notes or a computer so you can talk in your groups. This is ongoing work until you write your Essay and present your Oral Assignment to the class.
