English 10 Homework for Tuesday, Sept. 22:

1. Any Outstanding Homework is due in my in-basket by 8:15. This includes the homework from the weekend, which some of you did not complete. You were to develop your definitions of Classical Conservatism, Liberalism, and Socialism, THEN write a paragraph each on ism to show how modern Conservatives, Liberals, and the NDP (Socialists) have modified or changed those Classical ideas.

2. Overview to Parents: Please have your parent or guardian copy the information on the back page of the Overview so they have it, AND have them fill in the information on the last page of the Overview, and return it to me by Thursday. 

3. Allegory Homework: 1) Find a good definition for "Allegory" that you can understand. It should be a concise paragraph. 2) Find two excellent examples of allegories that are well-explained and that you can share with the class tomorrow.
