2. Provincial Prompt Personal Essay(4-5 paragraphs) to  be written in class on Monday. "People must adapt to a changing world." Work on this starting today, by thinking about what you will write and putting down notes. I will give you an outline handout tomorrow for this essay.

You are to use the "first person" point of view. That is, you are to write about what you think, so you can use "I", "me" etc.

So...think about how the world is changing, and how it is affecting YOU. Give examples from your life experience: in other words, what you know. Think about how you have to adapt, or are adapting to the world. Incorporate descriptive details that make your writing better, and engage the reader.  Make your narrative interesting by writing what you know and choosing details that show it.

The format for the essay is the following: also use the Editing Essay Handout to help you when you write it in class.

a) Introduction: 3-4 sentences

b)Two to three Body Paragraphs of 8-10 sentences each
